A former police officer with 20 years of experience with the New York Police Department, Joseph Sordi now serves as managing director of Strategic Security, where he remains committed to safeguarding clients’ assets. Outside of work, Joseph Sordi contributes to several charitable organizations, including veterans associations and the American Red Cross.
As a reflection of the American Red Cross’ commitment to military personnel and their families, the organization has received designation as a 2017 Military-Friendly Employer from Victory Media. The designation recognizes companies that support military personnel through military-friendly retention programs and hiring practices as these individuals transition to civilian employment.
Prior to awarding the designation, Victoria Media asks a series of questions about how employers recruit and develop military employees as well as what policies they have implemented to support veterans.
